JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 26-03-2019 The petitioner has approached this Court for regularization of his services as Chaukidar in the District of Muzaffarpur, where he has been discharging his duties since 1994.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has pointed out that ever since his engagement as Chaukidar, he has been discharging his duties to the satisfaction of all, but other persons, similarly situated have been regularized in service.

Though the petitioner cannot claim any right of being regularized in service, but since others, who are similarly situated, have been given the benefit of regularization, this Court can only direct the petitioner to make a representation before the Senior Superintendent of Police, Muzaffarpur, detailing his grievances within a period of six weeks from today. Should such a representation be filed, the same may be disposed off in accordance with law within a further period of six weeks.

4. With the aforesaid observation/direction, the writ petition is disposed off.
