Petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case No.402 of 2016, registered under Sections 47(a)/54 of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act, 2016.

Allegation in brief is that this petitioner was apprehended by the police with 222 bottles of Nepali wine. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that nothing was recovered from possession of the petitioner, no copy of seizure list was given to the petitioner and the petitioner has been in custody since 06.10.2016, having no criminal antecedent.

No.11457 of 2017 (2) dt.17-03-2017 2 / 2 Having considered the said facts and circumstances, petitioner Ajay Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned S.D.J.M., Sikrahana at Dhaka, East Champaran in connection with Ghorasahan P.S. Case No.402 of 2016.
