2. The petitioner seeks bail in Pratapganj P.S. Case No. 207 of 2025 registered for the offence punishable under Sections-126(2), 115(2), 109 and 3(5) of the B.N.S. and Sections-25(1-B)(a), 37, 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Allegation is that through his nephew, the informant received information that he was being chased. Thereafter, he was surrounded by Pintu Ram and his associates and, firing was made by the petitioner which hit on the right side of waist.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has falsely been implicated in this case. The petitioner is under custody since 28-09-2025.

5. Perusal of record reveals that there is case and counter case between the parties. The wife of the petitioner has filed a case against the informant of this case being Pratapganj P.S. Case No. 208 of 2025. The informant has not alleged any motive against the petitioner. The petitioner is under custody since 28-09-2025. The charge sheet has been submitted in this case and cognizance has been taken. Thus, the petitioner is no more required for investigation.

5. Learned APP has opposed the prayer for bail.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner named above, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below/concerned Court, Birpur, Supaul in connection with Pratapganj P.S. Case No. 207 of 2025.
