This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 452, 341, 323, 325, 307, 354, 427 and 379 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.
Allegation is that in the Panchayat election, fourteen accused persons, including the petitioner, with intention to kill the informant, assaulted him with deadly weapons and also torn saree of some of the ladies. Submission of the petitioner is that there are three injuries although there were fourteen persons. Two injuries are simple in nature and one found to be grievous. Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Wazirganj P.S. Case No. 228 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, I, Gaya, or successor Court.
