2. Petitioners apprehend arrest in a case registered under Sections 323, 498(A), 149, 147, 148, 324 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3, 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

3. As per prosecution case, the marriage of opposite party No. 2/complainant was solemnized with Rajesh Ravi Das in the year 2010. After five years of marriage, all the accused

No.12286 of 2025(2) dt.15-04-2025 2/3 persons including these petitioners started demanding dowry and due to non-fulfillment of the same, the accused persons tortured and assaulted the complainant. On 17.02.2021, the accused persons ousted the complainant from her matrimonial house.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are innocent and have falsely been implicated in this case. Further submission is that petitioners are in-laws of the complainant and there is general and omnibus allegation against them. Petitioners are separate in mess and property and they are not concerned with family affairs of the couple. Petitioners have never demanded any dowry nor they tortured or assaulted the complainant. It is next submitted that the husband of the complainant, namely, Rajesh Ravi Das has already been granted anticipatory bail by the Court concerned (Annexure-P/2). Petitioners have got clean antecedent and they undertake to cooperate in the investigation and trial.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail application.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, in the event of arrest or surrender before the Court below within

No.12286 of 2025(2) dt.15-04-2025 3/3 six weeks from today, the petitioners be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount to each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Bhagalpur in connection with Complaint Case No. 318 of 2021, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
