The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 606/2022 registered for the offence under 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 11.01.2023 and there is recovery of 3.6 liters of foreign wine.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the period of custody and the recovery of liquor, this application for regular bail is allowed.

Court-2, Excise Act, Lakhisarai in connection with Excise P.S. Case No. 606 of 2022.
