JUSTICE SUDHIR SINGH ORAL JUDGMENT (Per: HONOURABLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE) Date: 08-03-2017 The Writ Applicant seeks direction to constitute State Security Commission; Police Establishment; and the Police Complaint Authority, the provisions of which has not been made in the Bihar Police Act, 2007, in terms of direction issued by the Hon'ble Supreme court in Writ Petition (Civil) No.310 of 1996 (Prakash Singh & Ors. v. The Union of India) decided on 22.09.2006.
Similar writ applications bearing CWJC No.11565 of 2009 (Umesh Pd. Singh v. The State of Bihar & Ors.) and CWJC No.10494 of 2010 (Patna Nagar Parishad v. The State of Bihar & Ors.) stands transferred to the Hon'ble Supreme court.
Patna High Court CWJC No.2964 of 2015 dt.08-03-2017 2/2 In view of the said fact, since the matter is pending consideration before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, we do not find that the issue needs to be examined in the present writ application. The same is, thus, dismissed.
