In this writ petition the petitioner simply wants consideration of his case in the light of order dated 31.01.2018 passed in the case of Umesh Kumar Verma v. the State of Bihar & Others passed in LPA No. 1584 of 2017, arising out of CWJC No. 5538/ 2014 (Annexure-8 to the writ petition). It is submitted that similarly situated Constables have been reinstated but the petitioner has not been granted the same relief and, hence, his case should be considered in the light of decision of this court in the case of Umesh Kumar Verma (supra).

Patna High Court CWJC No.15199 of 2016(15) dt.16-01-2023 2/2 Considering the nature of grievance, this writ petition is disposed of and the matter is remitted to the respondent No.2, Director General of Police, Bihar, Patna with a direction to the petitioner to file a detailed representation before respondent No.2 within a period of four weeks from today. If such a representation is filed the respondent No.2 shall consider the case of petitioner in the light of order passed in the case of Umesh Kumar Verma (supra) and pass a reasoned and speaking order after hearing the parties within a period of with three months from the date of receipt/ production of a copy of this order.

This writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid observation/ direction.
