The petitioner seeks bail in Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 18/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 272, 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 30(a), 38(i) and 41(i) of the Bihar Prohibition Excise Amendment Act, 2016. On chase the petitioner was apprehended and from his bag 80 pouches each containing 200 ml were recovered. It appears that 16 litres of country-made liquor was recovered from the possession of the petitioner and for that petitioner is in jail since 19.01.2017. The petitioner has already remained in jail for one and half month.

Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9925 of 2017 (2) dt.06-03-2017 of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate - I, Lakhisarai in connection with Lakhisarai P.S. Case No. 18/2017.
