This application is for grant of regular bail in connection with Chhatapur P.S.Case No.113 of 2015, for the offences under Section 394/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The petitioner is not named in the F.I.R. but it appears that later on his name transpired.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner that he has been made accused in this case only on the basis of his self confessional statement and except that there is nothing against him and he is in custody since 01.02.2016.

Heard learned A.P.P. also, who has opposed the prayer for bail stating that apart from his own confessional statement, he is accused in 11 other cases and mostly all are of similar nature.

No.18196 of 2017 (2) dt.21-04-2017 2/2 Having heard both sides and in view of the facts and circumstances, as stated above, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage, however, the petitioner is in custody for more than one year, as such the learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observation, this application is dismissed.
