The petitioner whose PDS license has been cancelled by the order impugned has approached this Court directly, without exhausting the alternative remedy of appeal, which is available to him.

We are, thus, not inclined to entertain this application. The petitioner would be well advised to prefer an appeal against the aforesaid order before the appellate authority.

Patna High Court CWJC No.3453 of 2022 dt.27-04-2022 2/2 Should he file such an appeal within a period of thirty days, it shall be taken up for consideration by the appellate authority and within next sixty days, it shall be disposed of after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner to explain his cause.

The order so passed by the appellate authority shall be a reasoned order.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ application is disposed of.
