The petitioner seeks bail in Special Case No.434 of 2020, arising out of Sultanganj P.S. Case No.16 of 2020, registered under Sections 30(a)/37(b)(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the informant got information that one person was selling liquor after concealing the same by the side of the bridge. On such, a raid was conducted and the petitioner was apprehended. 57.4 litres of country made liquor was recovered from near a pillar and for that the petitioner is in jail since 11.01.2020. The petitioner has already remained in jail for more than 11⁄2 months.

Considering the facts aforesaid, petitioner, namely, Fekan Paswan is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail
