The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 307 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

As per the prosecution case, the accused Ranjit Singh, Sanjay Chaudhary, Ajai Ram, the petitioner and others are stated to have come variously armed and of having fired and also having injured the informant and others by bow and arrow. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the allegations against the petitioner is of having injured the younger brother of the informant with bow and arrow in his leg. No.21656 of 2021(2) dt.24-09-2021 2/2 footing to that of co-accused Ranjit Singh, Ajay Kumar Ram and Sanjay Chaudhary who have been enlarged on bail vide order dated 4.12.2018 passed in Cr. Misc. no. 66112 of 2018. The petitioner is in custody since 21.12.2020 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the grant of bail to the other FIR named co-accused as also the petitioner having remained in custody for 9 months, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Pipra P.S. Case no. 102 of 2018 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Addl. Sessions Judge V, Supaul.
