2. The petitioner apprehends his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 187 of 2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 420 of IPC and 3⁄4 of D.P. Act.
3. According to the complaint, the marriage of daughter of the complainant was settled with the petitioner. The complainant paid Rs. 1,50,000/- but the accused persons refused for marriage. It has further been alleged that the petitioner snatched Rs. 10,000/- from the pocket of the complainant.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10885 of 2025(4) dt.08-10-2025 2/2 that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated. The marriage of the daughter of the complainant has been solemnized elsewhere.
5. Considering the above-mentioned facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, in the event of his arrest or surrender within four weeks before the learned court below, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad in connection with Complaint Case No. 187 of 2016, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
