JUSTICE JYOTI SARAN ORAL ORDER 06-04-2016 Heard Mr. Swapnil Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State. This application under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been filed for extension of the period of surrender as provided in the order granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner along with four others in Criminal Misc. No. 38811 of 2014.

Having heard Mr. Swapnil Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and counsel for the State and for the reasons assigned in this application, the period of surrender for the petitioner Shiv Narayan Mandal is extended by further four weeks from today with a clear stipulation that no further extension shall be granted.

The order dated 20.3.2015 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 38811 of 2014 insofar as it relates to the petitioner Shiv Narayan

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.7215 of 2016 (4) dt.06-04-2016 Mandal stands modified to the extent that the period of surrender granted under the order dated 20.3.2015 is extended by further four weeks from today.

This application is allowed.
