2. State counsel accepts notice for respondents.

3. In the instant petition, petitioner has prayed for the following relief/reliefs:

"That this is an application for issuance of appropriate writ/order in nature of Mandamus directing the respondents, especially Respondent No. 2, for consideration of petitioner's application as well as recommendation made by the other respondent authorities for appointment of the petitioner on vacant post of Chaukidar in Beat No. - 1, Village Juravanpur

Patna High Court CWJC No.8993 of 2021 dt.16-02-2022 2/2 Barari under Juravanpur Police Station, DistrictVaishali at Hajipur. Further prayer is to direct the respondents while considering the candidature of the petitioner take into consideration of his 15 years' services rendered in concerned police station."

Despite application dated 22.02.2017 vide Annexure 2 to this petition and thereafter correspondence with the official respondents, the grievance of the petitioner has not been redressed, therefore, the concerned authority is hereby directed to pass a speaking order in respect of petitioner's claim within a period of three months from the date of receipt of this order, failing which, petitioner is entitled to litigation cost and it is quantified @ sum of Rs. 10,000/-. Cost shall be paid by the authorized officer from his pocket and not from the Government.
