ABHISHEK REDDY ORAL ORDER 24-09-2025 It is stated by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner that though the respondents have paid the principal amount, they have not calculated the interest on the delayed payment. Learned counsel submits that the work was completed in the year 2020 and the payment is made only in the year 2025 after filing of the present writ petition.

Having regard to the above made submission, the present writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to given a suitable representation to the Respondent No. 2, i.e, the District Officer, Lakhisarai, ventilating his grievance for making the payment of the interest on the delayed

Patna High Court CWJC No.3249 of 2025(4) dt.24-09-2025 2/2 payment. If any such representation is made, the authority shall consider the same on its own merits strictly in accordance with law.

3. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the representation by the petitioner. Any order passed shall be communicated to the party.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
