The instant application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No. 07 of 2023 instituted for the offence punishable under Sections 376(AB), 302, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 4 and 6 of the POCSO Act.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by this Court vide order dated 03.08.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 36008 of 2023.

In compliance of the order dated 23.02.2024, a status report has been received dated 28.02.2024 by which it appears that trial will be concluded within a period of six months.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.14250 of 2024(3) dt.04-04-2024 2/2 No fresh ground is made out for reconsideration of the regular bail application of the petitioner, as such, his prayer is rejected.

Accordingly, the application stands disposed off. The trial Court is directed to conclude the trial within the stipulated period of time positively as mentioned in its report failing which the petitioner will be at liberty to renew his prayer for bail.
