Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 113 of 2019 for the offence under sections 413, 414, 420, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 11(A), (D), (E) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Allegation against this petitioner is that during the course of patrolling, the petitioner was found involved in carrying buffalo and cows in a 12 wheeler container. Basically the allegation against this petitioner is of cruelty to animal. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the

No.9830 of 2020(2) dt.29-02-2020 2/2 petitioner, let the petitioner, named above, in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned SDJM, Sherghati, Gaya, in connection with Gurua P.S. Case No. 113 of 2019 subject to the condition as laid down under section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
