JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 13-03-2015 Advance to the tune of Rs.16,16,200/- under various schemes while posted at Bithan Block and Sarairanjan Block is not being denied by the petitioner. The controversy surrounding the petitioner emerges from the fact that proper accounting and reconciliation of the advance has not been done. Many a things have been alleged against the Mukhiya of the Gram Panchayat. But that may not help the situation for the reason that the government money has to be accounted for and the work executed by the petitioner will

In the above circumstances, the BDO, Sarairanjan and the BDO, Bithan, both in the district of Samastipur, are saddled with the responsibility to verify the work done by the petitioner as well as accounting which he will offer and then pass a final order with regard to the total liability or outstanding which may emerge against him, if any. A decision in this regard must be taken within a period of six months from the date of production of a copy of this order. Petitioner will render due assistance in verification of the work as well as rendering of accounts.
