The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Siwan (Mufassil) P.S. Case No. 103 of 2014, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 467, 468 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code.
Md. Mumtaz Alam, the S.H.O. along with other officials raided the house of Kamrul Raja. Many persons managed to flee away, but Md. Raja so of Md. Firoz was apprehended on the spot. On search fake non-judicial stamp of different denominations, machines for preparing non-judicial stamps and other printing articles were recovered. Md. Raja disclosed the name of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.16145 of 2015 (2) dt.30-04-2015 2/2 petitioner was not apprehended. His name surfaced in the case in the confessional statement of Md. Raja. The petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
It appears that Md. Raja was apprehended on the spot in the house of Kamrul Raja from where huge quantity of nonjudicial stamps, printing papers, printing ink, machines etc. were recovered.
Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.
