2. The petitioners seek bail in connection with Bagengola P.S. Case No. 112 of 2024 instituted for the offences under Sections 80(1), 238, 3(5) of the BNS.

3. Prosecution story, in short, is that the petitioners along with other family members have killed the daughter of the informant for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that petitioners have falsely been implicated in the present case.

No.15008 of 2025(4) dt.18-06-2025 2/3 Petitioner no.1 is the elder brother of the husband of the deceased, petitioner no.2 is the father-in-law, petitioner no. 3 is the mother-in-law of the deceased whereas petitioner no.4 is the cousin brother of the husband of the deceased. There is general and omnibus allegation against these petitioners. Learned counsel further submitted that there is no specific allegation of demand of dowry from these petitioners. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the petitioner nos. 2 and 3 are in custody since 05.11.2024 and petitioner nos. 1 and 4 are in custody since 04.11.2024. Petitioner nos. 1, 3 and 4 have no criminal antecedent whereas petitioner no.2 has one criminal antecedent.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State and learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the prayer for grant of bail to the petitioners.

6. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case and there being no direct allegation against the petitioners and the period of custody undergone by the petitioners, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioners.

7. Let the petitioners be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court
