The petitioner has filed the present writ application for a direction to the Circle Officer, Sanjhauli, Rohtas at Sasaram, to dispose the mutation application filed by the petitioner for mutation of his name pursuant to purchase of a piece of land by a registered sale deed No. 9900 dated 27.7.1970.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the State stating therein that mutation case of the petitioner has already been rejected on 25.10.2017 i.e. prior to filing of this writ application. The order dated 25.10.2017 has been annexed as Annexure 'C' to the counter affidavit.

In view of the statement made in the counter affidavit,

Patna High Court CWJC No.22394 of 2018(5) dt.18-01-2023 2/2 this writ application is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to prefer an appeal in accordance with law before an appropriate authority.
