2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition for the grievances relating to payment of monthly pension, which has not regularly been paid and further for payment of interest on arrears of differential amount, with respect to promotion granted from the post of Reader and Professor. The delay, according to the petitioner, is said to have been caused for around seven years in releasing the actual amount, which was payable to the petitioner and for unexplained reason the interest payable over

3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the University submits that petitioner may be directed to file appropriate representation, appending judicial pronouncement, if so advised, with supportive materials to claim the relief which is sought by the petitioner in the instant writ petition.

4. The petitioner is directed to file detailed representation, indicating the claims with supportive materials and the judicial pronouncement, which according to him is applicable for grant of interest over the delayed payment of arrears of salary, as applicable to the post of Reader and Professor.

5. Considering the aforesaid, on submission of such representation, the authorities are directed to take final decision within a period of eight weeks.

6. If, it is found that the amount is payable, the same shall be paid within a period of two weeks thereafter.
