====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE AJIT KUMAR ORAL ORDER 19-09-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.

2. The petitioner claims the difference of arrears of pay from the post between Reader and Professor and arrears pertains to sanction Leave period including interest on delayed payment @ 18%. In this regard, the petitioner is said to have represented before the authority on 05.10.2024, still the payment of arrears has not been paid to him.

3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondents University submits that petitioner may be directed to file a detailed representation indicating the grievances with

Patna High Court CWJC No.3732 of 2025(2) dt.19-09-2025 2/2 supportive materials which shall be adjudicated by the competent authority under the University.

4. Considering the aforesaid, the petitioner is directed to submit a detailed representation, appending all supportive materials to claim arrears of difference of pay from the post of Reader to Professor, sanctioned leave as well as with regard to payment of interest, taking cue from the order passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Hon'ble Court being C.W.J.C. No. 15001 of 2021. On submission of such representation, his grievances shall be adjudicated within a period of eight weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order.

5. If it is found that the amount is payable, the same shall be paid within a period of four weeks thereafter.

6. It is expected from the authorities concerned that they shall pass reasoned and speaking order considering the Judgment rendered by a Coordinate Bench of this Court with regard to interest portion.
