This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Bariyarpur P.S. Case No. 175 of 2023 registered for the offence punishable under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The petitioner along with another person is said to have killed the deceased. The petitioner was seen fleeing from the place of occurrence after the deceased was shot. He is in custody since 14.10.2023.

Considering the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant the petitioner privilege of regular bail. Accordingly, this bail application is accordingly rejected. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail if there is no substantial progress in the trial.
