JUSTICE SANJAY PRIYA ORAL ORDER 26-04-2017 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offence under Section-414 of the Indian Penal Code and 20, 22, 23 & 24 of NDPS Act.

It is alleged that 14 kgs Ganga was recovered from possession of this petitioner. The seizure list was accordingly prepared..

In such circumstances, this court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner and accordingly, his prayer for bail in connection with Sahodara P.S. Case No. 47 of 2016 stands rejected.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.14582 of 2017 (3) dt.26-04-2017 2/2 The learned court below is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner. The petitioner is given liberty to renew his prayer for bail in the court below itself after six months if no substantial progress is made in the trial.
