This writ application has been filed for a direction to the respondents to consider the case of pre-mature release of the petitioners in the light of the Government order applicable in the case of the petitioners. Counter affidavit and supplementary counter affidavit have been filed on behalf of the State.
Learned counsel for the State has produced a copy of the proceeding of the meeting of the State Sentence Remission Board held on
Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.211 of 2017 dt.27-04-2017 2/2 07.04.2017. Item nos. 31 and 32 of the proceeding show that the recommendation has been made for release of the petitioners by the State Sentence Remission Board.
Accordingly, this writ application is being disposed of with a direction to the respondent-authorities to take consequential steps with respect to the recommendation made by the State Sentence Remission Board expeditiously.
This disposes of the writ application.
