The petitioner is father of one Sufiyan Ali who has been made named accused in Alamganj P.S. Case No. 287 of 2013 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 363 and 366A of the Indian Penal Code.

The present application under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondents to investigate the aforesaid Alamganj P.S. Case No. 287 of 2013 properly considering the representation of the petitioner.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the State submits that since the matter is under investigation, there is nothing on the basis of which it can be said that the investigation is not being carried out in a proper and impartial manner. Be that as it may, having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I find no merit in the present application. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. (Ashwani Kumar Singh, J.)
