JUSTICE VIKASH JAIN ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 03-08-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for the respondents.

2. The present writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents for granting license for Public Distribution System in favour of the petitioner in pursuance of the letter no. 214 dated 09.01.2015 by the respondent no. 1; and for connected reliefs.

3. At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner invites reference to paragraph 7 of the counter affidavit which reads as follows -

That in the light of the order contained in letter No. 214 dated 09.01.2015 the authorities concerned have taken steps to follow the guidelines of the Food and Consumer Protection Department, Government of Bihar, Patna for the grant of PDS License and as soon as the Roster shall be cleared against the vacant PDS applications shall be invited for the grant of P.D.S. License in the West Champaran district."

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the stand of the respondents, the petitioner has no objection if the writ petition is disposed of.
