The petitioner is languishing in custody for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner and others were arrested when fleeing from near the truck on which huge quantity of liquor was there. The petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent. He is in custody since 11.11.2020. Considering the fact that this is the first allegation against the petitioner under the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20000/- (Twenty thousand) with two
