2. The petitioner who is an Inspector of Police seeks a direction to the respondent authorities to grant him the benefits of the first and second ACP as well as the MACP and other financial benefits to which he is entitled.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that persons junior to him have been accorded the aforesaid benefit but the same has been withheld from the petitioner without any apparent reason. The
Patna High Court CWJC No.3725 of 2019 dt.27-02-2019 2/2 representation of the petitioner in the past before the concerned authorities have yielded no result till date.
4. Under the aforesaid circumstances, the petitioner is directed to make a detailed representation before the D.G.-cum-I.G. of Police, Bihar, Patna (respondent no. 3) detailing his grievances and the reasons why he should not be paid the financial progression to which he is entitled within a period of four weeks from today. On receipt of such representation, the same shall be disposed of by the concerned respondent within a further period of six weeks by a reasoned order. In case the claim of the petitioner is found to be tenable, necessary sequel order shall be passed within the aforesaid period.
5. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
