The present application has been filed for modification application of order dated 12.01.2024 passed in Cr. Misc. No.84343 of 2023 to the extent of extending the period of surrender.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court on 12.01.2024 in Cr. Misc. No.84343 of 2023. In para-4 of the said order, it is wrongly typed as the husband of the deceased has been acquitted by the learned Trial Court in the place of the devar of the deceased. It is further submitted that the husband of the deceased is in judicial custody.

Accordingly, this modification application is allowed and in the order dated 12.01.2024, the husband of the deceased has already been acquitted by the learned Court below be read as the devar of the deceased has already been acquitted by the learned Court below as well as the period to surrender is extended by six weeks from today in connection with Pirpa Kothi P.S. Case No.12 of 2020, pending in the court of learned C.J.M., East Champaran, Motihari, subject to deposit of Rs.2000/- (Rs. Two Thousand) in the Victim Compensation Fund, Bihar. 5.
The order dated 12.01.2024 is modified to the extent as indicated above.

Accordingly, this modification application stands disposed of.
