This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 323, 385, 379, 307, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
According to prosecution case, the petitioners and others allegedly committed assault on non-fulfillment of their demand for ransom.
Submission of the petitioners is that the coaccused, Ranjit Mahto and Tanej Mahto, similarly situated, have already been allowed by a coordinate Benches of this Court in Cr. Misc. No. 53094 of 2016 and Cr. Misc. No. 47281 of 2016. More over, there is case and counter case between the parties.
Considering the aforesaid fact, the petitioners, above named, are directed to be released on bail on
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.9768 of 2017 (2) dt.07-03-2017 2/2 furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Shahkund P.S. Case No. 34 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Subdivisional Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur, or successor Court.
