2. The present petition has been preferred for the following relief(s):

"i. for a direction to the respondent particularly respondent no. 8 to depute an Amin for taking measurement of the land of the petitioner and demarcate it.

ii. for holding that the impugned non

Patna High Court CWJC No.15948 of 2016(2) dt.05-08-2025 2/2 measurement and non-demarcation of the petitioners land in illegal, arbitrary and without any lawful justification.

iii. for any other appropriate relief/ reliefs as your lordship may deem fit and proper."

3. A counter-affidavit has come on behalf of the respondent no. 5 duly signed by the Circle Officer, Purnea East after service of copy to the learned counsel for the petitioner in the year 2021 and as per paragraph 9, the petitioner never filed any petition before the Deputy Collector, Land Reforms which is the authority to consider said prayer.

4. In that background, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he shall be preferring a proper petition before the concerned authority in four weeks.

5. If such petition is filed in next four weeks alongwith requisite fee, the authority concerned shall be taking appropriate steps in the matter at an earliest.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.
