The limited relief prayed for in this writ petition by the petitioner is for a direction to the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation for expeditious disposal of Vigilance Case No.51B of 2011 which remains pending before him.

The claim of the petitioner is that although he has deposited the condonation and compounding fee as back as on 29.10.2012 in respect of the alleged deviation but yet the matter

Having heard Mr. Verma, learned counsel appearing for the Corporation as also taking note of the limited relief prayed in this writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Municipal Commissioner, Patna Municipal Corporation to consider and dispose of the vigilance case bearing Vigilance Case No.51B of 2011 in accordance with law and after reasonable opportunity to the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
