The present petition is for quashing of the order dated 18.07.2013 passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhepura in connection with G.R. No. 1442 of 2012, arising out of Madhepura Mahila P. S. Case No. 36 of 2012, whereby cognizance has been taken under Sections 498 A and 406 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.7781 of 2016(2) dt.14-11-2019 2/2 Mr. Pawan Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he has no idea about the stage of the case as he has not been contacted by his client. After about 6 years of the order taking cognizance, it would not be appropriate for this Court to interfere with the matter as there is every possibility of this case having been concluded.

In any view of the matter, if the case has not been concluded, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the court below for appropriate remedy.

With the aforesaid observation, this petition stands dismissed.
