The petitioner seeks bail in Manihari P.S. Case No. 200 of 2016 registered under Sections 399, 402, 414 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code, Sections 25(1-a), 25(1-a)a, 25(1-b)a, 26(ii) and 25 of the Arms Act and Sections 20 and 22 of the NDPS Act. The police raided the place on information that some accused persons had assembled to commit road dacoity and apprehended 11 accused persons including the petitioner Vinay Kumar Ray.

Leanred counsel for the petitioner submits that one country made pistol was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. For that the petitioner is in jail since 29.10.2016 and the petitioner has already remained in jail for six months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19640 of 2017 (2) dt.28-04-2017 2/2 Considering the facts aforesaid, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.D.J.-VIII, Muzaffarpur in connection with Manihari P.S. Case No. 200 of 2016.
