The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Bahadurganj P.S. Case No.179 of 2019 registered under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that it would appear from the F.I.R. that on the basis of the fardbeyan of the informant Atique Ahmad, the present case was lodged against four unknown. In course of investigation, the name of the petitioner surfaced in this case in the confessional statement of the co-accused Jaimirul Islam. Thereafter, the petitioner was apprehended and remanded in this case on 19.08.2019. Further submission is that while the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10190 of 2020(3) dt.16-03-2020 2/2 petitioner is in custody since 19.08.2019 but he has not been put on T.I. Parade till date, while the informant has claimed in the F.I.R. to identify the culprits on seeing them again. Mr. Ram Prawesh Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted at the Bar that while the petitioner is accused in five other cases, as detailed in paragraph-3 to this application, but in all those cases, he is on bail.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kishanganj, in connection with Bahadurganj P.S. Case No.179 of 2019. Out of the two sureties, one must be either parents or the close relative of the petitioner.
