The petitioner seeks bail in N.T.P.C. P.S. Case No. 06/2016, registered for the offences punishable under Section 307 and other Sections of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act.

The informant named four persons and alleged that they demanded extortion but the informant did not pay extortion. It is further alleged that the petitioner and others made indiscriminate firing on the informant, but the informant did not sustain any injury.

No.11199 of 2017 (2) dt.10-03-2017 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that four persons, namely, Abhimanyu Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Krishna Singh and Harbansh Singh, the petitioner are named in the FIR and Abhimanyu Singh, Ranjeet Singh and Krishna Singh have already been enlarged on bail. The case of the petitioner stands on the same footing. The petitioner is in jail since 20.12.2016. Considering the facts aforesaid, the petitioner above named is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bhagalpur in connection with N.T.P.C. P.S. Case No. 06/2016. (Prabhat Kumar Jha, J.) Rakhi U T
