In this case, the petitioners are seeking anticipatory bail in connection with Sitamarhi P.S. Case No. 942 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 272, 273/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Allegation has been made that the police, on secret information, recovered 870 litres country made liquor from sugar cane field of Ganga Singh. The petitioners and others were running business of illegal wine and kept the same in sugar cane field of Ganga Singh.

Looking to the quantity of liquor recovered, this

However, if the petitioners surrender before the Court below within four weeks from today and pray for regular bail, the Court below will consider the same and pass appropriate order without being influenced by the order of this Court.
