JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 29-02-2020 The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Special Case No. 11048 of 2019 arising out of Maner P.S. Case No. 609 of 2019, dated 09.12.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 30(a) and 37(c) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The petitioner is in custody since 10.12.2019 40 litres of locally brewed liquor is said to have been recovered from the possession of the petitioner, which

It has further been submitted that the petitioner does not have criminal antecedents. Even from the F.I.R., it would appear that recovery was made from three places. Considering all these facts in a holistic manner, the petitioner above-named is directed to be released on bail on his furnishing bail bonds in the sum of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna in connection with Special Case No. 11048 of 2019 arising out of Maner P.S. Case No. 609 of 2019.

The application stands allowed.
