Petitioners are the prospective adoptive parents who want to adopt two children of the opposite party- respondent (i.e. biological parent) have filed a Miscellaneous (Adoption) Case No. 21 of 2021 before the Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna under the provisions of Section 56(2) of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act 2015 read with Regulation 51 & 52 of Adoption Regulation, 2017. The limited prayer of the petitioners is that the Family Court may be directed to dispose of the Miscellaneous
Patna High Court C.Misc. No.128 of 2022(2) dt.21-06-2022 2/2 (Adoption ) Case No. 21 / 2021 expeditiously inasmuch as the petitioners are required to obtain passport of the proposed adoptive children for the purpose of their studies. In view of the aforesaid submissions, learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Patna is requested to dispose of the Miscellaneous (Adoption) Case No. 21 / 2021 expeditiously in accordance with law.
Accordingly this civil miscellaneous application is disposed of.
