The petitioner seeks bail in Mahendia P.S. Case No. 15/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(A) of the Excise Act.

The police got information that Shashank Shekhar (son of the petitioner) had kept huge quantity of Indian made foreign liquor for sale. The house of the petitioner and vehicle were searched. Altogether 30 bottles of different brands of Indian made foreign liquor were recovered from the dickey and below driver seat of Maruti Esteem Car. 456 bottles of wine of different brands were recovered from the room of Shashank Shekhar. Considering the facts aforesaid and the fact that petitioner is the father of Shashank Shekhar and he is in jail for about 03 months for the fault of his son who was illegally selling different brands of Indian made foreign liquor and huge quantity of liquor was recovered from his room, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Arwal in connection with Mahendia P.S.
