Petitioner is in custody since 08.03.2017 in connection with Bypass P.S. Case No. 48 of 2017 registered under Sections 30(a) of the Bihar Excise Amendment Act, 2016.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner, who is of clean antecedent, is innocent and has not committed any offence. In fact, nothing has been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. The alleged recovery has been made from a vacant land which is situated at Karmalichak, Om Colony and the petitioner has no concern with the said place. The petitioner is rotting in custody for more than one and half months. Considering the nature of accusation, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.
