The petitioner is accused in connection with Jadopur P.S. Case No. 50/2012, registered under Sections 307, 387, 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. In course of investigation, name of the petitioner has surfaced in the confessional statement of co-accused Rishi Jha to the effect that the petitioner was also present with him at the time of occurrence and the petitioner was also involved in committing the occurrence. Further submission is that co-accused, Rishi Jha, has already been granted privilege of bail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.17631 of 2017 (2) dt.04-05-2017 vide order dated 25.04.2014 passed in Criminal Misc. No. 5644/2014. The petitioner is in custody since 28.03.2016. Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner Abhishek Jha, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in connection with Jadopur P.S.
