2. The petitioner, who is a retired employee, is aggrieved by the fact that the arrears of his salary for the period 08.03.2006 to 31.010.2017 amounting to Rs. 13,93,019/- has not been paid up till date despite the petitioner making representation before the concerned authority time and again.
3. The petitioner, in the aforesaid circumstances, is directed to make a fresh representation before the District Magistrate, Patna, detailing his grievances and stating the reason why the arrears of salary, despite the petitioner being entitled for the same, is not being paid to
Patna High Court CWJC No.3357 of 2019 dt.22-02-2019 2/2 him within a period of four weeks from today. On receipt of such representation, the same shall be disposed of by the District Magistrate, Patna within a further period of six weeks thereafter.
4. In case the claim of the petitioner is found to be tenable, necessary sequel order shall also be passed ensuring that the arrears of salary to which the petitioner is entitled is paid to him.
5. With the aforesaid direction/observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
