The petitioner being the husband of the victim is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The prosecution case is of killing the daughter of the informant within two years of marriage for nonfulfillment of dowry demand by causing burn injury. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the victim committed suicide and subsequently the informant has retracted from the initial version and filed a petition to that effect before the learned court below.

No.6626 of 2016 (2) dt.12-02-2016 2/2 Considering the nature of accusation, let the learned court below consider the prayer for regular bail of the petitioner, if the petitioner surrenders before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today in connection with Samho P.S.
