This is a petition for issuing a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the Senior Superintendent of Police, Darbhanga at Laheriasarai, to comply the order, dated 19.12.2014, by which the Magistrate has called for a report from the police whether any criminal case has been lodged in connection with complaint (CR No. 2062 of 2014) by the petitioner or not.

A counter affidavit has been filed by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Headquarter, Darbhanga, stating therein that Laheriasarai P.S. Case No. 83 of 2015 was registered for offences under Sections 341, 323, 504, 420, 406, 467, 468 and 471 of the Penal Code and Assistant Sub

Patna High Court Cr. WJC No.228 of 2015 (2) dt.26-06-2015 2/2 Inspector of Police, Deo Muni Singh, Laheriasarai Police Station has been made the investigating officer.

Hence, having regard to the fact that a counter affidavit has been filed and the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed, this petition is disposed off.
