====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 07-03-2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.

2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 8, 20(b)(ii)(c), 23 and 29 of the NDPS Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, 24 kilograms Ganja was recovered from the possession of apprehended ca-accused who disclosed name of this petitioner as his associate.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. Petitioner's name has come in this case during course of investigation on the basis of confessional statement of co-accused. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

5. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He submits that since more than commercial quantity of Ganja has been recovered from a co-accused who named this this petitioner as his associate, as such, petitioner cannot be granted privilege of pre-arrest bail.

6. Considering the nature and gravity of allegation and quantity of recovery of Ganja,
